End of Year Stats

This year has been truly amazing.  I sat some pretty high goals for myself and our team for 2015 and with your help they have been made.  Each one of you have played a huge part is getting things done and keepin' it real.  Here are December's shooting stars:

1. Michelle Shipp, RSD
2. Kathie Wright
3. Stephanie Brown
4. Janelle Kaiel
5. Ellen Warner
5. Diane Achatz
5. Carol Clarke
5. Anne Naipo, SRSD
5. Sirgrady Law
5. Sandy Evans

Great job everyone.  As in all business we lost some team members and faced a lot of negativity.  We pulled together and Finished Stronger!! We had so many hit new income and pin levels, 14 new RSD's & 1 SRSD with over 400+ new team members in the organization.  This doesn't include how many members or how much money we saved others, WOW!  what an amazing year.    I am truly blessed to work with each of you every day.  Let's double the pin levels in 2015.  My team call will start again in January and as always my door is always open.  I would love to hear your 2015 goals.
Don't forget to start watching for the Healthcare challenge details in your email any day now. Also connect in our group on Facebook.

Why Not Be Bold?

I want to talk to you and get YOU excited about YOUR business.  No matter if you have been really successful or not, I want you to completely forget it.  The things we have coming out are going to become complete game changers.   I want you to get excited about what is to come.

I want to talk to you about Goal Setting.  I do my goal setting a little different from SMART Goal setting.  It didn't work for me.  I got so frustrated that I didn't even want to make goals anymore.  I took on a different idea about goal setting.  I started setting BOLD goals and my whole life has changed.  It had a lot to do with the way I approached everything.

Smart Goals- specific measurable attainable realistic timely goals are so BORING!  If you just got into Ameriplan as a hobby, if you are going to put the time into it, why not get more out of it?  If you are going to put the same amount of time, energy effort etc.  Why not be BOLD – Big Outrageous Legendary Dream goal?  These are fun.  The people that have changed our world in way that blow our mind have developed BOLD goals.  They made bold moves, bold strategies and they put commitment and drive. “All good fortune is a gift of the gods, and you don’t win the favor of the ancient gods by being good, but by being bold” – Anita Brookner.  We are taught to live mediocre, we are taught to be bold.  It doesn’t feel good when you don’t give it your all.  Even if you don’t achieve that goal, you can at least say I gave it my all.

Being BOLD takes courage.  I want you to set goals that make people laugh at you, that make them think you are crazy.  It’s OK.  Steve Jobs was laughed out of his office and fired from his own company for pushing the limits and being bold.  But he changed the world with the IPhone.  Talk to people, break out of your shell, these things require courage.  All these game changers began scared.  We have all been there, but it takes courage to continue.  You have chosen an amazing opportunity to get into Ameriplan.  I know some of what is coming, there is some really good stuff going on behind the scenes.  I encourage you to hang on and let us get in place.  When you put it out there that you want to make $25,000 with this company, it is obtainable, but it does require courage. What if you DID achieve it?  What if you really did start writing 10 memberships per month?  What if you did recruit 10 people a month?  Somewhere down the line we are told that you can’t do these things.  Small children when asked what you want to be when you grow up, they haven’t been told they can’t be something, and it’s a beautiful thing to hear them say they want to be president, or a doctor, a lawyer or in my 8 yr. old son’s case, a chef on the moon because astronauts need to eat.  So my question to you is What if you DID achieve it?  I personally love a challenge.  You can’t be limited to what people tell you that you are limited to.  What if you really did decide to put Ameriplan your #1?  What if you decided that what you wanted to do was retire, go back to college, or buy a new car, house, boat, put your kids through college because of Ameriplan?  It can happen.  I have lived it happen, my husband & oldest son are now college graduates.  It really is possible.  But you have to be willing to say what if I did….and make bold goals.

4 Steps to get started
1.  Why did you join Ameriplan/FAHT?  What did you expect of your business?
2.  How do you want to work your business?
3.  Consider your personal situation – do not COMPARE yourself to anyone!  Comparison is the thief of joy. What do you have going on?  How can you work your business aside from that?  The opportunity is there for you, what are you going to do with it?
4.  IGNORE REALITY – what if money did matter? What if time didn’t matter? What if you had nothing in your way?  Then what would your goal be?  We should all be dreamers.  The beauty in this industry, the more you help others, the more you help yourself.

The million dollar question – Why are you thinking so SMALL?  We are taught we need to bring it down to the social norm.  Be BOLD.  I want you to get excited about your business, your life, your opportunity.  Why are you thinking so small?  You can do great things, you are capable.  Be BOLD – Be COURAGOUS.  You are deserving of having a wonderful business, you are capable, we are giving you all the tools you need.  The only thing standing in your way is YOU.  Let’s start thinking BIG!

“Either you decide to stay in the shallow end of the pool or you go out in to the ocean” – Christopher Reeve

Take that bold risk and BE what you want to be.  You aren’t designed to be mediocre.  With your goals, make them crazy, not only in Ameriplan but in your life.  I want you to dare to dream.  Worst case scenario, you won’t hit your goal.  When you don’t mean your small goals, you beat yourself up, because you SHOULD meet them.  When I put in my BOLD GOALS, I dared to dream, and I worked hard to get them and some days I hit them!

Your homework is:

My Goals:
Short Term Goal:______________________________________________________________
Long Term Goal:_______________________________________________________________
Set these goals with everything thrown out the window.  Don’t let time or money stand in your way.  Set them BOLD.  And it doesn’t have to be in business, it could be in your life.  Don’t think small.  These are totally up to you.  Be BOLD, be courageous!

Know we leaders are here every day with you, We want you to be BOLD.

Introducing Our January Featured Leader

I still love to say it, "Senior Regional Sales Director."  Ahhh... music to my ears.  I don't say that in a bragging way but in a way that humbles me each time I hear it.

It humbles me because it means I have been here exactly 17 months as of today.  It means I that I am discovering the courage that I never knew I had but was there all the time.  I means that I am really starting to see the impact of residual income.  It means that I am actually realizing my dreams as I am able to be home with my four-year old little "big boy" now. :-)  It means that I am able to spend more quality time with my husband and to help support my household financially again.  It means that I've finally found something that works and that I am passionate about.

It reminds me that I am on an incredible journey of self-discovery, growth and transformation.  It reminds me that I am building and working with a remarkable team that inspires me everyday.  It reminds me that I'm not alone because others are there who want me to succeed and who lead by their example.  It reminds me that everyday I have the opportunity to make a difference in someones life through my business.  What an honor.

When I think about my journey to SRSD, it helps me realize how incredibly blessed I am and that I'm not finished yet.  It encourages me to look forward and upward.  I can't stop, I won't stop now... the best is yet to come!

Senior Regional Sales Director!  Really?  Wow!!!  :-)  I am so thankful to God for this incredible blessing. This has been a tremendous learning experience and has really helped me grow as an AmeriPlan leader.  I am truly grateful for the support and encouragement of my upline. To Debbie Hanson, my Enroller, for her constant guidance, mentorship and friendship every step of the way; to Kristie DeGraw who has been the biggest cheerleader for me and my team; and to Janie Jones who has paved the way for our entire team of Freedom Fighters. I couldn't imagine this journey without each of you.

There is a quote that Kristie DeGraw shared with us that sums up my journey to SRSD. The quote by Babe Ruth says, “The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don't play together, the club won't be worth a dime.”  This reminds me of why I am so extremely thankful for my team and especially my very first RSDs: Rose Jackson, Alan and Ana Rhein, and Schree Bell.  I am so proud of each of you!!!  We're not just a team, we're family.  To my husband who is my lifelong business partner and best friend, the Freedom at Home Team, Dennis and Daniel Bloom and the overall AmeriPlan family, thank you all.  I am truly blessed.

To the top!

November RSD Announcement

Let me Introduce to you our NEWEST
Regional Sales Director
KAMILYA NAPOLI
Hello EVERYONE!!

Bismilllah- In the Name of Allah the most Gracious the most Merciful. All Praise and Glory Belongs to Allah. I am grateful to Him first and foremost. My Lord, has guided me and has blessed me with the best of this life and I hope and pray for the best in the life to come. My journey with Ameriplan started 2 years ago, when I first started learning about home based Business. It was Charlene Mullenburg who first talked to me over the phone and I signed up on the spot. I was so excited but after a while it wore off and I was not seeing the results I was expecting, I decided to leave. Fast forward two years later, I am BACK!!! and here to STAY. Yes, this time I signed up under my best friend, Michelle Shipp who happened to find out about Ameriplan through me. "Verily, Allah will not change the condition of the people, until they change what's in themselves." (Quran Chapter Ar-Ra'd 13:11) .. I have decided to change my condition, and Allah has blessed me with a great leadership team. I want to encourage all of you who are thinking of quitting, DON'T. I lost two years trying to find the next best thing, and there is none out there. Ameriplan is set up for your success. The training, the team, the leadership and the personal coaching you get from these incredible ladies and gentlemen is just few of the many perks you get as part of being with Ameriplan. All you got to do is commit, work hard and reach out to your sponsor when you need help.

I want to thank Charlene for firstly introducing me to Ameriplan, thank you and I am sorry I did quit on myself the first time without even calling. Its not going to happen again. I want to thank my best friend Michelle for her patience with this business and my inspiration to come back to Ameriplan. She is a great leader, a great friend and one of the kindest and least selfish women I have been blessed to be around. I want to thank my husband, who has been very supportive with all my online endeavors, my children for my reason to want to stay home and for my parents who are my rock. I also want to thank Lisa Simpson and Debbie Hanson for their leadership and support. Thank you to the whole Freedom at home team. I look forward to networking with each and everyone of you.

13 reasons from today's team call

13 reasons you might have in your head about why you're not as successful as you should be.

#1 Laziness
I don’t think there’s an easy way to put this. I have to assume that you’re lazy. Every single successful person works their butts off to get where they are. It’s ok to be lazy. Just admit it. But don’t whine about not being rich and successful, ok?

#2 Entitlement
Only a few people in the world are part of the lucky club. You and me? We gotta work to get what we want. Quit thinking you are owed something. You’re not. Get to work.

#3 Fear
You are afraid, plain and simple. Afraid of looking silly. Afraid of what your friends and family will say. Afraid of everything. Look, you’re either going to stop being afraid, or you’re not. Nobody can convince you to stop. Imagine though... what awaits you when you stop with the fear excuses?

#4 Negativity
You may not realize it, but the people you associate with might be negative. They could be soul-sucking beings who don’t want anyone to be successful. Get rid of them, now! Surround yourself with successful people. People you want to be like.

#5 Stop Thinking
How much do you want to bet you have paralysis by analysis? You think way too much about what you could or should do. Doers get what they want, and everyone else gets what they get. Stop analyzing and start doing.

#6 No Goals
You plan nothing. You believe that someway, somehow, everything you always wanted will just magically happen. So you “play it by ear” and wait. You need goals to shoot for. Otherwise, you’re just treading water.

#7 “They”
There’s no “they”. There’s no secret group of people that controls your success or failure. You’ve made that up to make you feel better about yourself. The truth is you, and you alone, control your success in life/business/everything. It’s easy to blame “them” though, isn’t it? Weak.

#8 No “X” Factor
You can’t do it because you’re not pretty enough. Or don’t have a strong personality? You don’t have the “X” factor? Wow, what an unbelievably lame excuse. The truth is even jerks, idiots and boring people can be just as successful as anyone else. Your problem is you don’t believe it yet.

#9 Time Waster
You’re a classic time-waster. You spend hours and hours every day working on not-working. You do things that aren’t productive. How are you ever going to get anything done, or reach any goal if you keep wasting time? You’re not. So you might as well give up now if you’re going to keep this path.

#10 Social B.S.
You spend way too much time in social media land.  You waste probably about 50% of your productive hours of the day doing this. The sad part is, you know it, but you can’t stop. So you can’t get anything done that matters.

#11 Think Small
You think way too small. You are constantly looking only a day or a week ahead instead of years ahead. Because of this, you never get anywhere, and you never lead; you always follow.

#12 Don’t Want It
You don’t really want to be successful. Sure, you like to dream about it like everyone else. But in your heart you are afraid of what might happen if you really get it. That’s B.S. fear your brain is feeding you. Success is change, and it feels really, really good. Tell your brain to shut the [foolishness] up.

#13 Don’t Believe

You never believed that it’s possible. Society taught you that only a few “exceptional” people get what they want. Everyone else should just settle. If you really want to believe that, go ahead. The rest of us will be at the front of the line because we believe.

Overcoming Objections

(Here's some information from our training site that may help you with your prospecting.  Please feel free to share if you'd like.)

OVERCOMING OBJECTIONS

It's important to understand that in the vast majority of cases where a prospective associate raises an objection to becoming involved in AmeriPlan, it's the result of one of four underlying concerns:

*  The company
*  The product
*  The marketing plan, were not explained clearly enough for them to arrive at a decision.
*  Their involvement,  They don't understand how they can make money with our company.
Important:
Although it is important to talk about our companies credentials and our services, it is also very important to focus on your prospect and "find out"  why they are looking for work at home.

Are they looking for work at home so they can:
*  Be at home with their family?
*  Supplement their income?
*  Worried job security?

Our job is to listen and find out what is their problem. Once you know their problem, you can then  show them how Ameriplan is the solution.  If you can show them  "what's in it for them", then you got yourself a great business partner.

Note:
Always invite them to come and listen to training calls.  It's free for them to attend and they can determine if our company is a match for them.
 ANSWERING OBJECTIONS
 When answering your prospect's objections:

Listen carefully. Never interrupt.
Never argue with your prospect. Appreciate the reason for their objection, or repeat their objection so you clearly understand what they are saying.

Use words like feel, felt, appreciate, understand, realize.

For example:
I understand why you feel that way.  Or I can truly appreciate what you're saying or I felt the same way myself until I realized that...
Your response should always be brief and to the point.

Once you responded:
ASK: Does that answer your question? or Does that make sense to you?
You want to get  lots of "yes"

 MOST COMMON OBJECTIONS
Here are several common objections and the appropriate responses you can use.
OBJECTION:  I AM JUST LOOKING FOR A "WORK AT HOME JOB"
YOUR RESPONSE:  Yes, I was also looking for a "work at home job".  However, after several years, I figured it out. There are not that many "jobs" in the internet, if they were, we would all be working at home for them!  So that is why I stop looking for jobs and I'm with AmeriPlan.
Ameriplan has been in business for 20 years.
I work on my terms, I get lots of training and I can make part time or full time income.

----------------------------------------

OBJECTION:  Is this a pyramid scheme?

YOUR RESPONSE:  Absolutely NOT, Pyramid schemes are illegal.  If we were a pyramid scheme, all the major pharmacies and vision centers would not be associated  with Ameriplan.

-------------------------------------------

OBJECTION:
I need to talk about it with my spouse

YOUR RESPONSE:  Absolutely!! please go and talk to your spouse.   Show him the link to the BBB, the 60 minutes special and  Good Morning America featured our company.
REASSURE HIM that you will NOT lose money.  You guys are going to GAIN a lot.  Educate him that...
* You get a huge home office deduction simply by working at home.   i.e.  right off internet, electricity, printer, computer payments!
---------------------------------------------
OBJECTION:  I don't have the money.
YOUR RESPONSE:  I know how you feel.  I also didn't have the money  and that is why I'm here with AmeriPlan!
I was tired of telling my kids, "I can't afford that" and I was tired of watching my spouse work 60 hours a week.
The way I look at it,  life has two roads. I can stay on the road I am right now, or I can turn and go down the other road. The road I was in was not very pretty so I turned to the other road and I started working for Ameriplan.  I borrowed the money from my credit card and the first check that I made, I paid off that balance on my credit card.
If I didn't have a credit card, I would of borrowed the money and called back to enroll!
----------------------------------------------

OBJECTION:  I don't have enough time.

YOUR RESPONSE:  We have many people that are working outside the home or people that have  5 children and they have very busy schedules but they work their Ameriplan business on their lunch break, while they are doing errands just so they can build that full time income at home so they start enjoying life.
By the way, I also didn't have time.  But the way I look at it.  Time is going to come and go anyway.   Might as well build the business NOW,  so in a few years I'll be celebrating oppose to regretting.

------------------------------------------------

OBJECTION:
I'm not a salesperson.
YOUR RESPONSE:
Good, because you don't have to be. Most successful people in our business don't have a sales background. We are in the business of giving people information and educating people about our company.  We actually are giving people a GIFT.  A gift to own something that belongs to them and their families.  If you can follow a script and attend our training calls, you will do awesome!
-------------------------------------------------

OBJECTION:
I want to think about it.
YOUR RESPONSE:  I know how you feel. I felt the same way. I will email you the link to the BBB, the 60 minutes special and my website.  Do you mind if I put  you on my address book and invite you to our training calls.  You can join our training calls and YOU can determine if you want to work for our company.     I will also call you within a week.
--------------------------------------------------
OBJECTION:  I'm not interested.
YOUR RESPONSE:  I can appreciate that. I'm sure the timing is not good now. But let me ask you a question. You wouldn't mind if I keep in touch with you and keep you up to date on what's going on with me, the company, and the industry, would you?
Then put them in your address book and forward our daily newsletter to them!

Mental Toughness

20 Ways to Get Mentally Tough
at Work, in Sports and Life ~ Jon Gordon

1. When you face a setback, think of it as a defining moment that will lead to a future accomplishment.

2. When you encounter adversity, remember, the best don’t just face adversity; they embrace it, knowing it’s not a dead end but a detour to something greater and better.

3. When you face negative people, know that the key to life is to stay positive in the face of negativity, not in the absence of it. After all, everyone will have to overcome negativity to define themselves and create their success.

4. When you face the naysayer’s, remember the people who believed in you and spoke positive words to you.

5. When you face critics, remember to tune them out and focus only on being the best you can be.

6. When you wake up in the morning, take a morning walk of gratitude and prayer. It will create a fertile mind ready for success.

7. When you fear, trust. Let your faith be greater than your doubt.

8. When you fail, find the lesson in it, and then recall a time when you have succeeded.

9. When you head into battle, visualize success.

10. When you are thinking about the past or worrying about the future, instead focus your energy on the present moment. The now is where your power is the greatest.

11. When you want to complain, instead identify a solution.

12. When your own self-doubt crowds your mind, weed it and replace it with positive thoughts and positive self-talk.

13. When you feel distracted, focus on your breathing, observe your surroundings, clear your mind, and get into The Zone. The Zone is not a random event. It can be created.

14. When you feel all is impossible, know that with God all things are possible.

15. When you feel alone, think of all the people who have helped you along the way and who love and support you now.

16. When you feel lost, pray for guidance.

17. When you are tired and drained, remember to never, never, never give up. Finish Strong in everything you do.

18. When you feel like you can’t do it, know that you can do all things through Him who gives you strength.

19. When you feel like your situation is beyond your control, pray and surrender. Focus on what you can control and let go of what you can’t.

20. When you’re in a high-pressure situation and the game is on the line, and everyone is watching you, remember to smile, have fun, and enjoy it. Life is short; you only live once. You have nothing to lose. Seize the moment.
