Introducing Dee Syphertt, Regional Sales Director

Blessed and Highly favored...thank you...thank you...thank you.  I am so excited to make RSD...the 1st of many milestones.  My enroller...my friend, Michelle Shipp...thank you.
After doing research about the company, I requested an interview and it was with Michelle.  After we finished talking I knew it was for me but my funds were low, so I told her I would have to wait a while till I could afford it.  I self-enrolled I think within the next couple days...that was my leap of Faith to changing my life.  Thank you for your constant support, calls, emails, text, training, friendship, advice, and guidance Michelle.
Wow what an amazing team and platform I am a part of:  Kristie and Debbie...thank you for everything; for being that extra support, encouragement, positive reinforcement.  Delane...my wonderful bootcamp break-out leader...even-though I didn't say much, I learned a lot.  My wonderful Freedom at Home Team Family...thank you all so much for paving the way and giving me a chance to do something great.
Alright team...who's coming with me...I see room...heading to the top...Let's Rock n Roll!!!

Why Not Be Bold?

I want to talk to you and get YOU excited about YOUR business.  No matter if you have been really successful or not, I want you to completely forget it.  The things we have coming out are going to become complete game changers.   I want you to get excited about what is to come.

I want to talk to you about Goal Setting.  I do my goal setting a little different from SMART Goal setting.  It didn't work for me.  I got so frustrated that I didn't even want to make goals anymore.  I took on a different idea about goal setting.  I started setting BOLD goals and my whole life has changed.  It had a lot to do with the way I approached everything.

Smart Goals- specific measurable attainable realistic timely goals are so BORING!  If you just got into Ameriplan as a hobby, if you are going to put the time into it, why not get more out of it?  If you are going to put the same amount of time, energy effort etc.  Why not be BOLD – Big Outrageous Legendary Dream goal?  These are fun.  The people that have changed our world in way that blow our mind have developed BOLD goals.  They made bold moves, bold strategies and they put commitment and drive. “All good fortune is a gift of the gods, and you don’t win the favor of the ancient gods by being good, but by being bold” – Anita Brookner.  We are taught to live mediocre, we are taught to be bold.  It doesn’t feel good when you don’t give it your all.  Even if you don’t achieve that goal, you can at least say I gave it my all.

Being BOLD takes courage.  I want you to set goals that make people laugh at you, that make them think you are crazy.  It’s OK.  Steve Jobs was laughed out of his office and fired from his own company for pushing the limits and being bold.  But he changed the world with the IPhone.  Talk to people, break out of your shell, these things require courage.  All these game changers began scared.  We have all been there, but it takes courage to continue.  You have chosen an amazing opportunity to get into Ameriplan.  I know some of what is coming, there is some really good stuff going on behind the scenes.  I encourage you to hang on and let us get in place.  When you put it out there that you want to make $25,000 with this company, it is obtainable, but it does require courage. What if you DID achieve it?  What if you really did start writing 10 memberships per month?  What if you did recruit 10 people a month?  Somewhere down the line we are told that you can’t do these things.  Small children when asked what you want to be when you grow up, they haven’t been told they can’t be something, and it’s a beautiful thing to hear them say they want to be president, or a doctor, a lawyer or in my 8 yr. old son’s case, a chef on the moon because astronauts need to eat.  So my question to you is What if you DID achieve it?  I personally love a challenge.  You can’t be limited to what people tell you that you are limited to.  What if you really did decide to put Ameriplan your #1?  What if you decided that what you wanted to do was retire, go back to college, or buy a new car, house, boat, put your kids through college because of Ameriplan?  It can happen.  I have lived it happen, my husband & oldest son are now college graduates.  It really is possible.  But you have to be willing to say what if I did….and make bold goals.

4 Steps to get started
1.  Why did you join Ameriplan/FAHT?  What did you expect of your business?
2.  How do you want to work your business?
3.  Consider your personal situation – do not COMPARE yourself to anyone!  Comparison is the thief of joy. What do you have going on?  How can you work your business aside from that?  The opportunity is there for you, what are you going to do with it?
4.  IGNORE REALITY – what if money did matter? What if time didn’t matter? What if you had nothing in your way?  Then what would your goal be?  We should all be dreamers.  The beauty in this industry, the more you help others, the more you help yourself.

The million dollar question – Why are you thinking so SMALL?  We are taught we need to bring it down to the social norm.  Be BOLD.  I want you to get excited about your business, your life, your opportunity.  Why are you thinking so small?  You can do great things, you are capable.  Be BOLD – Be COURAGOUS.  You are deserving of having a wonderful business, you are capable, we are giving you all the tools you need.  The only thing standing in your way is YOU.  Let’s start thinking BIG!

“Either you decide to stay in the shallow end of the pool or you go out in to the ocean” – Christopher Reeve

Take that bold risk and BE what you want to be.  You aren’t designed to be mediocre.  With your goals, make them crazy, not only in Ameriplan but in your life.  I want you to dare to dream.  Worst case scenario, you won’t hit your goal.  When you don’t mean your small goals, you beat yourself up, because you SHOULD meet them.  When I put in my BOLD GOALS, I dared to dream, and I worked hard to get them and some days I hit them!

Your homework is:

My Goals:
Short Term Goal:______________________________________________________________
Long Term Goal:_______________________________________________________________
Set these goals with everything thrown out the window.  Don’t let time or money stand in your way.  Set them BOLD.  And it doesn’t have to be in business, it could be in your life.  Don’t think small.  These are totally up to you.  Be BOLD, be courageous!

Know we leaders are here every day with you, We want you to be BOLD.

The Holidays are here

This time of year may be a signal for some to ease off their business and take a break.  I feel to be a true business there is no time away.  I personally work harder during the holidays, if I know I will miss two days per week then I pick up the hours elsewhere.  Adding them back into the business.  Why you ask? This is a business, not a hobby.  Each of us have certain goals we want to reach before the end of year, before convention.  I feel if we haven't met them yet then we need to push forward, together, to reach them.  The best way to do that is stay in touch, let your mentor know what it is they can help with.  Jump on a training, perfect your advertising and marketing.  No one can do that for you.  Really it all comes down to how bad do YOU want it?
My husband & I are very grateful for every team member in our organization.  We are very grateful being able to work as a couple, from wherever we are.  Building a legacy income for our children.  We want that for everyone which is why we are here everyday, giving back and chasing our own personal goals.  Let us help you.  We are One Team with One Dream.

Congratulations RSD Angela Gholston!!

 Introducing our n

Regional Sales Director...
Angela Gholston!

"The race is not given to the swift nor the strong but unto them that endure to the end." It has taken me eight long months to get here. I signed up in December a few weeks before Christmas. When I first started, I didnt know how to fit Ameriplan into my hectic schedule.  I had quit several times every week. I had just gotten my first cleaning contract and I was still working in manufacturing. My son Xavier was suffering from grand mal seizures. He's my main priority and the reason, I wanted to work at home. I knew as a mother and as a woman I had to keep my sanity and push forward. I'm so glad that I decided to stick with Ameriplan. After the convention I decided to work the business and look what happen.

Thank God!
Thank you Lisa Simpson LPT, for enrolling me and cheering us on. Your stuck with me now so deal with it!  Lol! Neco Hamilton you already know. I appreciate you so much, more than you'll ever know. Thanks for trusting a crazy person. Sandy Evans, I 'm so glad I met you at convention. I'm looking forward to working with you. I love my chicks! Go get it!

Don’t Want to Use Toll Free Numbers for Your Business? Well, This is What to Expect…

This article is credited to our itelecenter blog,
http://www.itelecenter.com/blog/

The internet is flooded with articles and blogs that discuss the significance of a toll free number for a business. We all know that toll free numbers provide the best possible tool for business communications. It is important for marketing campaigns and is also responsible for increasing sales. A toll free number, also known as 1 800 number makes a business look professional, helps in building its national presence and most importantly encourages people to call a business and inquire. But what if a business decides not to use this number? If an entrepreneur is ignorant of the benefits of toll free numbers, or if he prefers to stay away from one such number, following are the things he should be prepared for:
#1: Stay Relaxed – No Calls, No Inquiries
It is almost impossible for a small business or a new entrepreneur to invite people call them without 1 800 numbers. They can try online strategies and tactics to make a strong online presence and let people know about them, but making people call them is a different story. Usually, people are concerned about their rising phone bill and hence they do not feel comfortable calling a new business – about whom they are not sure of. So, an entrepreneur can be rest assured of not getting disturbed by phone calls and inquiries now and then.
#2:  Put on Your Thinking Cap to Assure Customers of Your Product/Service
A toll free number assures prospects and customers of the service to expect from a business post purchase. Deciding not to use a toll free number offers entrepreneurs a good opportunity to exercise and build their writing and verbal communication skills. Entrepreneurs are sure to spend hours either in writing articles and documents explaining to customers about their service or speaking with the customers and trying to convince them about the same, though it is difficult to be certain about the consequence both these efforts bring.
#3: Enhanced Creativity
Vanity toll free numbers are special toll free numbers that make a phone number memorable. You can expect calls from people only when they remember your phone number. If an entrepreneur is not using a toll free number, he has to find out a new way to make his business number memorable to his customers. This is no doubt a great challenge to the creativity of an entrepreneur. Why use a vanity number and curb your creativity? Instead try to find a new way to make your number memorable. You need to remember only one thing here and that is time. Marketing your product at the right time is important for a successful sales process. Can your business really give you this luxury of time? Well, you are the best person to decide.
#4: Keeps You Honest
One of the most popular reasons for businesses using 800 numbers is that it makes a business look professional, credible and bigger than it actually is. These are important for the success of a business and for closing a sale successfully. If a business is operating without one such number, it must be prepared for ways to show its professionalism and credibility despite being small. Though this can be a good way to display your honesty, it might not prove to be too good for your business, especially for its sales.
#5: No Complaints, No Feedback
Toll free numbers establish an effective channel of communication. Customers call you to air their complaints or simply to share their feedback. Both these are important for the growth of a business. It helps in locating the strengths and weaknesses of your products and services. If a business does not have a toll free number, it is sure not to receive either complaints or feedback. In other words, the scope for its growth gets reduced – steadily.

How to Post Free Ads on Craigslist

(given to me by my upline in 2011)

Our team has had a great deal of success over the years posting free ads on Craigslist. Below you will find full details on how to work this method successfully. (This method can also be used on any other Free Classified posting site.)

Introduction:

In order to receive the best results with this marketing strategy it is so very important that you follow the instructions exactly as laid out when first learning this process. After you are comfortable with the process, you can adjust and tweak the wording and strategy, as you track your results and determine which ads produce the most response.

This process is geared toward driving traffic to your Freedom At Home Team website, so that you will receive Opt-In Requests for Interview. Ideally you should receive 2 to 8+ per day if you post ads consistently. Some classified sites, like Craigslist for example, track posted ads by the IP address of the computer being used to post, not by your email address. We advise you to limit the number of ad postings on a single site to 2-3 per day, and each in a different city, with different category and description choices. This will prevent you from being flagged and/or banned from the site.

Choose your posting sites:

Below is a sampling of free classified ad websites that have provided great results:

http://www.Craigslist.org You will have the best results with Craigslist as this site has massive amounts of traffic.
http://www.facebook.com/ on Facebook Marketplace: When you are logged into Facebook, type in "Marketplace" in the Search bar and you will find the Marketplace application.
http://www.classifiedads.com/
http://www.Jobvertise.com
http://www.USFreeAds.com
http://www.AmericanClassifieds.com
http://www.Ablewise.com
http://www.BOCOnline.com
http://www.BestWayClassifieds.com
http://www.webcosmo.com
http://www.backpage.com

This is just a few of the well-known posting sites. We strongly encourage you to add additional websites to your own personal list. This list is a good starting point but you can find many more sites simply by using Google to search on keywords like:
free classified ads, free job postings, free ads, free classifieds, free business postings, etc. Also, check your local newspaper's online version of classified ads, which often will allow free postings.

Create a new email address before posting:

You CANNOT use your ameriplan.net email address when asked to supply an email address on the ad sites when creating your ads. If you do, your ads will automatically be deleted from the site. Therefore, you will want to create at least one Yahoo, AOL, Gmail, or other free email address specifically for use when posting online classified ads. Ideally you will want your new email address(es) to sound professional and reflect something "interviewish". Note: If you want to be able to post more ads, you might want to consider creating more than one email address, so that you can switch between the two to allow for more postings, just remember to note which ads you post for which email address, for tracking purposes, and remember to check both of them regularly so you can respond in a timely manner.

Build your ad:

Using the AD MATRIX below:
· Select a CATEGORY from the first column of the AD MATRIX
· From the second column, select ONE of the corresponding subject/title listed (in the same row) for the Category you selected.

Now that you have made your selections and built your ad, you are ready to post it.

Helpful hint: You can "mix and match" subject/title and description choices within a single category, or choose a different category, with corresponding subject/title and description choices, to put together a number of different ads. If you post the identical ad on any single ad website, your ads will most likely be removed, even if posted in different locations.

Post your ads:

Helpful Hint - Try to post your ad without logging in or creating an account. This gives you a better chance of your add sticking and not being deleted.

Most of the ad websites are very similar when it comes to posting an ad. Although the information provided may be in a different order, you will be asked to provide the same information when posting an ad no matter what site you use. Here's what you do:
· Visit your selected classified ad website (from the list above, or from your own list of favorite posting sites).
· Find and click the button/link to POST AN AD.
· Choose the state/region/city in which you want your ad to be available for viewing (some sites provide option to post in multiple locations, but usually for an additional fee)
· Choose JOB for the type of ad you are posting (you may also have option for Home Based Business, or Work at Home)
· Read and agree (check the box) to the Terms of Agreement for posting on the site.
· Select the category in which you will be posting (this should correspond to the category you selected from the AD MATRIX when building your ad).
· An ad form/template will open, and you will fill in the fields of the form/template with the information you chose from the AD MATRIX above when you built your ad:

o Enter the subject/title you chose into the Subject/Title field in the ad form/template
o Enter the description you chose into the Description/Text field in the ad form/template
o If required (most cases it is not), enter the compensation/salary range from the AD MATRIX into the salary/compensation field in the ad form/template.
o Wherever you are asked to supply an email address to which replies to your ad should be sent, supply your NEW EMAIL ADDRESS that you created for use with classified ads.

· Once you have completed the required fields in the ad form/template, click CONTINUE (or POST or SUBMIT)

If you completed all the steps satisfactorily, a preliminary confirmation message should show up on your screen, with something to the effect of: "Your posting has not yet been activated; we have sent an email to the email address you provided when posting your ad, with instructions on how to activate your ad". Simply check your email (remember, this is the NEW one you created specifically for your classified ads) for the message, open it and follow the instructions given to activate your ad. Generally, you simply have to click a link provided in the message, which will complete the activation process, and you should be taken back to the site on which you posted it, where a new message appears stating that your ad has been activated/posted, and you should now be able to view/edit it

Helpful posting tips:

On occasion you will receive notification that your ad has been deleted or removed. Understand this is a normal part of the online advertising process, so do not be discouraged. This is NOT the site banning you, it is simply a result of a disgruntled responder who reports your ad and has it removed, for any number of reasons. Don't worry, keep Posting! Its all FREE, and often you'll have many responses before the ad got removed anyway! But here are some helpful hints to help prevent this from happening:
  • If you are having trouble with your ads being deleted, don't post more than two ads per week - I like to post on Sunday night and Tuesday morning.
  • Do not use your replicated site (www.freedomathometeam.com/yourusername) - If you do, you will get flagged, ghosted or deleted. If you want a website on the ad, you need to get a domain name. For example, mine is www.livingwithfreedom.com. I purchased mine from www.GoDaddy.com. I only pay $9 per year for mine but you can go
even cheaper and get the .infos for about $2 per year.
  • If you choose not to get a domain name, do not leave any contact information. At the end of your ad just write "For more
information and to request an interview, please respond to post." And when you receive the email response from Craigslist, you will need to send them an email prompting them to visit your site and request an interview. See below for an email template response. This method is fine but is very time consuming. Some people find it easier to just get a domain so they don't have to do this step. Completely up to you though:)
  • Keep your ads short and to the point.
  • Do not say "work from home." I always say "telecommute" or "must have home office setup"
  • Do not say AmeriPlan. I usually start off with something like "Our company is looking for....."

Another little trick I have learned is to save the initial email from Craigslist that confirms that your ad has been posted. Then every Sunday night, go back to it, click on the link in the email and "Renew" your ads.

How to respond to replies to your ads:
If you choose to use a domain name in your ad, you can skip this step. Using a domain will direct the leads to your FAHT site to request information. The leads will then be automatically loaded into your Focal Point system and they will begin receiving autoresponder emails and are ready to be called. This is a HUGE time saver and SO worth it!!

However, if you choose NOT to use a domain name in your ad, continue:

When someone reads and responds to your ad, an email message will be generated and sent to the email address you provided when posting the ad. Be sure to check your emails regularly, so that you can respond in a timely manner. Keep your response brief, but professional. Below is a sample response:
